But, it can be resolved but not cheaply.
October TOTM is now open for submissions.

Re: October TOTM is now open for submissions.
One or two over the years maybe but many of the WPL or similar based truck models that appear on the forum are often lacking a little where they retain some of the original running gear and / or electrics. Even some of the scratch built models seem to bounce around like they are on pogo sticks. Just a critical observation. This is where 1/16 falls behind 1/10th or even 1/14th!
But, it can be resolved but not cheaply.

"Ourselves." Does that mean you would be entering the TOTM in February if I set it up?General Jumbo01 wrote:How about we trial a round in February so we have a chance to prepare ourselves? We just need to make sure we don't lose the plot.

For February, yes l'd be happy to. I think you should, on our behalf, put it to the vote though, just as you did for the Tiger month.
Then for March you could introduce a military boat completion and for April a fighter aircraft, and May a scale model ice cream van. It's really not up to me is it? Is there anyone else who would enter a truck competition?

Planes, boats, now you're being silly
mind you, a submarine of the month may be good, with blurry underwater pictures, and a little periscope causing a wake across a few ponds could be entertaining
But, if it will get someone to submit that's never submitted in any TOTM's before, a Truck Of The Month is well worth attention

I didn't think the Mr Whippy van idea was silly, after all, the troops would have been far away from home, and in need of extra curriculum activitiesGeneral Jumbo01 wrote:Okay, l was.
