are they going to make the IR version compatable with Tamiya IR gear

Yes, the IR electronics will be compatible with Tamiya.  The plan is to introduce it later with a new Sherman variant and then in kit form to upgrade other tanks.

so will the kit form be compatable with existing HL/Matoro tanks

I would imagine you could drop it into any brand tank.  We're a ways out on the packaging phase.  Lots of work to do until we get to that point.

Is the suspension easily removable? Also is the lower hull plastic or metal? What parts of the Sherman are metal? Excuse me for all the questions, im very excited about this tank! lol

I never saw the final design pictures but during development the bogies were attached to the plastic hull with 2 screws.  The gun tube is aluminum, the sprockets and end connectors on the tracks are metal.  I'm waiting for mine just like you guys.

It seems like this Sherman has dropped off the radar. Is there any new news? Im desperate to do a Sherman, but only want one with VVSS and the correct tracks, sprocket and idler.
