Yes, he has that button. Is the V3 board.

He is following those diagrams but for some reason is not working.

It is strange because the radio works fine, he tested it today several times.

I wrote Dave and Erik from Taigen to see if they can throw us some light.

Uh oh... I am beginning to think this system must be either buggy or faulty. We have been searching for info in three languages and most what we found is people complaining it does not work at all. The rest ask why the machine gun does not work, lol.

But you guys are confirming it. Herr Jarndice, you had a 9x radio and that unit too, does it work for you?

Yep, he tried fitting, refitting, removing, bridging and everything with that little blug, but nothing works so far.

Hi Rad, Because I knew about the built in Hull MG fault when using an aftermarket Transmitter I have never tried my Turnigy 9x with any of the Panzer 4s with a Taigen V2/3 Board in my overflowing collection :haha:
I have fitted an upgraded Sound Module to one of my PZ4s and it will never be as good as an ASP2 or an IBU2 Pro but it is not bad for a very cheap set up AND this way I have a working Hull MG
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:

I'm guessing there's design flaw in there, Rad. If I were cynical, I'd suggest that Taigen would profit more from selling their compatible transmitter in a package with the MFU, and speaker, than by selling the MFU separately. The MG flaw seems to be well known, and sufficient to discourage people from using their favourite TX with it. What is unknown, is why the flaw is there..

Then again, the Taigen TX is fairly basic and generally reliable- so, all is not lost. Except, that is, for friends of Rad Von Radio. The urge to customise has been thwarted for them and, no doubt, many others.
Like you, I couldn't find any answers on the 'Net. :/

Just don't use a 7.4V Lipo or Lion cell...... They don't like them.
