A day out with the tanks

Post by wibblywobbly »

Its not often I get to run any of my tanks, so just to prove that they do see daylight occasionally, here's a little video. The poor mic on the cam couldn't cope with the sound volume, and my Panther decided to lose an idler...so that went back in the car as the only way to get them back in is to remove the track. Good while it lasted though.

The location is Rhoose Point, right on the Severn Estuary, in South Wales. It's perfect terrain for tanks.

Looks like the weather played ball for you Rob :D I've not visited Rhoose point myself for a while now, some challenging terrain to contend with down there, half the place was flooded last time I was there :haha:

Cheers, Lee.

Beautiful yet hauntingly familiar sounds. Fun video. Perfect for Sunday tank forum entertainment! Awesome Panther as well.

Never mind the idler wheel, how on earth did you manage to fit a steam engine in the Panther?? ;)
