This has been a most eagerly awaited release, and I predict a very popular one too.
I'm sure it will not be long before upgrades follow too.
I'm nearly finished on my Tamiya Sherman and have accumilated a fair bit of info and pictures of all models of Sherman that I could put to good use.

However as I have just purchased a Stug 3 and metal tracks from you Forgebear,I may have to wait a while before starting another Sherman.

So can you clear up the confusion:

Is it a Heng Long or a Matorro? Or are both companies making a Sherman? Swathdiver seemed to be talking about the Matorro one, not HL.

TIA

It's a Mato Sherman (it's there first tank).

There's been rumours that HL are doing a different Sherman.

There are a lot of compaines that are linked HL, Matorro etc I think they all come from the same factories.

hi guys. this is the mato version. unfortunately, I have just been told by the supplier, they are only doing a bb firing version to start with :'(  :'( :'( I guess I should reduce the number I intended to order as none of you will be after that version.  :'( apparently is is the M4A1(76)W version, will be BB only, have sound and no smoke and no metal gear boxes, these have yet been developed. I wish I hadn't mentioned it now. I'll get me coat........ :'( :'( I will speak to heng long and see if I can get something better :-[
