Hello , my name is Ivor and I am very new to this. I have a self build Torro Tiger tank which I have completed but I have either not done something or done something wrong. Because my controller is not. connecting with the tank. I have code binded the controller, and power is to the motherboard is fine.
How do I check that the controller is transmitting or that the motherboard is receiving ?
Thanks
Ivortank

Well at least unlike too many others you are on the right page but I don't think introducing yourself ends with telling us your name
Where in the world are you and what got your interest in RC Armour?
With that information we are better placed to help you,
Now the Basics.
You need to have the instruction sheet in one hand as you check EVERY connection is in the correct socket and is firmly home.
Read and reread the instructions until you are certain everything is where it should be and DO CHECK the battery's in your controller are new and in the right way round and are in contact with the positive and negative metal plates.
Keep asking the questions

Thanks jarndice,
I am in Durrington Wiltshire Uk. and I can see tanks and armour moving from Bulford to Salisbury Plain training area from my garden so thats where the interest came from. Also spent 20 years in the TA.
Will double check everything yet again.

hi there if you are binding your torro try this one flick the right switch chrome forward
then hold down the black button next to it
while you turn on your transmitter
still holding the black button turn on the tank when the red light stops flashing its is bound
flick the right switch back then flick the left chrome one forward to start
if it will not start turn off transmitter and then turn on and try to start again

Just out of interest where is the Power Switch on your Tank?
The usual place is under the radio operators hatch but it may be in the hull floor,
The Heng Long and Taigen/Torro Switches wiring is very weak and will break with very little work and while you may have power when first switched on it may have failed since.

Power switch is under hatch, all seems ok as fan on motherboard is working.

You have a Fan on the MFU? I had assumed the board was a Taigen/Torro V2/V3
Whose board are you using
EDIT.
I just opened one of my Tanks fitted with a Taigen V3 MFU and to my surprise it has a fan fitted DOHHH,
So forget that question please.
