Drapers 12 piece needle file set.

Post by jarndice »

For many years my Drapers 12 piece Needle file set (Part number 4884) has given very good service BUT cleaning them is a pain,
Does anyone have a quick and easy alternative?
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:

I like a little wire wheel in a dremel.
When FDR coined the phrase "The Arsenal of Democracy", he was talking about Detroit. Proud to live in the 2nd most violent city in America!!

Over the many years since I first got them I have become very attached to my Fingers and I certainly don't trust putting the files in the vice before attacking them with a dremel powered wire wheel,
Even with protective glasses I would expect great pain if the file went walkabout.

I use a steel wire brush sold for use in cleaning firearms.
