Hello Ice

Any chance of you uploading a few pics of the day when you get back.

Cheers

It's a huge show. Been the last two years and will almost certainly go next weekend.
It is so big it is almost impossible to walk round the whole site and all the trade shows in a single day. Certainly not the first time there as everything was new to me.

The second time I was able to discriminate more and not stop at every stall or display, so may be 3rd time round I'll be quicker and watch more of the driving displays.

Both times I've been there there were periods of torrential rain. I'm hoping this 3rd time it'll be a bit drier!

Nige

PS I prefer it to Tankfest which is about 1/5th the size in terms of things to see. Plus more varied vehicles - not _just_ tanks. Krads, Schwimmwagens (my favourite), lots of T-34/other Russian vehicles and some rarities/oddities too.

Its a fantastic show, I've been for the last 5 years. You really need more than 1 day to see everything. I'll be there this year with Rocketman either Thursday or Friday. Added a few pics from previous years below. The light weight landy is a mates that RK & me helped to restore and turn into the recon version in the picture.

Walking around one year we came across this little fella being unloaded from its trailer.

Sorry for the quality, it was an old camera.
