My mate's just had his air rifle taken off him.

It's one of those that uses a gas cartridge and he didn't know that the a couple of years ago the law change an know you need a firarms cert' for this type of airgun. So when the police came to renew his shotgun licence he said that he wanted this airgun added and they took it off him because he had it illegaly.

the FELIX guys (bomb disposal) made up a batch of petroleum jelly or (high density flammable liquid) as they called it, the REME had an old flame unit they gave us the engineers filled the tanks and our C/O wished us luck, even the assault pioneers came down to have a look, when we lit the flame unit everyone took a couple of steps back when we pressed the trigger the flame shot out so fast it surprised us all with the distance and area it covered, if you have ever cleaned a car with a high pressure hose thats what it felt like, those were the days before all this PC BS.  ;D ;D ;D

This country makes me laugh. I just came back from a motorcycle tour of France, Belgium, Germany, Luxembourg etc.  :P

No speed limits on the Autobahns (how come its safe to have no speed limits if it is so dangerous here?), hardly a speed camera to be seen in 4 countries and all blatantly signposted, and the non-smoking rule is almost universally ignored. Nothing funnier than seeing a no smoking sign on the door, ashtrays on all the tables, bar staff and shopkeepers smoking, and cigarette machines on the streets and even the wall of a gym. Sat in one hotel bar and the girl is offering me cigarettes and free beer!

Petrol stations in Luxembourg give away sweets when you buy fuel, or a bottle of wine if you fill your tank up!  :o

The population of the UK are not very bright. They complain about immigration being the cause of unemployment, but spend their entire salary on imported goods. Why on earth would anyone want to come here when we send all of our money to their country to support their industry? It isn't immigration that is the problem, it is our compelling desire to shoot ourselves in the foot.  :-\

As has been said, we have a culture where the crooks and pond life get preferential treatment, and the decent honest people have to defend their choice to live that way. It is complete and utter madness.  ???

Take a trip to Free Europe and it soon becomes apparent what a stressed out, imprisoned, bunch of gullible fools we all are over here.  :'(

I will get off my soapbox now..  ;D

Its enough to make you want to move to the Continent, lol.

Our government thinks we're all idiots who cant do anything for ouselves, and were all so stupid that they can get away with murder. I firmly believe this country is on its way to becoming a police state, and no-one seems to want to stop it. The honour in Britain has gone.
