Here's an alternative to paintballs that someone posted on another forum. They should be out this week from what the web site says. Looks like they are solid shot that will leave a mark without the mess of paintballs and, I would guess, no worry about them rupturing in the breech!
There's a demo video in the top left corner of the page...
The VCR bill doesnt apply to our tanks, it limits the sale and manufacture of replica immitation firearms such as airsoft guns or anything that looks like a "real" gun, not tanks. If it applied to 1/16 tanks that fire BB's we'd need to prove registered club membership to buy them.
Those paint ball bb's have a habit of breaking in airsoft guns because most feed mechanism work by putting the bb's under pressure and fire at a much higher velocity. They may work better in our tanks as they are gravity fed and fire at much lower speeds. Although as Rivertcounter said, if they rupture it'll clog up the firing mechanism and god knows how you'd clean it out :-[
Recieved e-mail from Creeping Death stating the release is coming soon, posibly within 30-days.The marking ammo seems like a good alternate, here in the US their are no laws like you guys have. Here locally they have just passed city law stating gun permit holders can wear guns into bar but not puplic parks.Their are only common sence laws that cover airsoft. So I am going to order the marking ammo so me and my son can further enjoy this hobby, when creeping death comes thru I will post a breakdown of their system on this forum then you guy's can decide if it violates your laws.SAX

Boy I hope you're right that Creeping Death will have their gun out in the next 30 days or so.
Really? In a bar is okay but not a public park? I have my carry license in Utah and there we can have the gun in a public park but not in a bar. Funny the different approaches...funny as long they're not banned that is. >:(
