It should. I would be wary of eBay sellers - sometimes the goods are fakes coming from China despite where the seller says they are.

My suggestion is to buy from a hobby store you trust.

I just got mine several days ago and it’s fake. SOBs even have IMAX B6 printed on them. Very deceiving. Still seems to work. I just ordered the Imex X150AD charger from Erik. I like the touchscreen feature.

If you made payment using PayPal or a credit card, you have a case to claim your money back, especially as it is fraud.

Good advice but I’ll just keep it. It was only $23 and now I’ll have a backup.

That's a very risky backup, and why should fraudsters get away with it.

But it's your money, and your decision.

Sourcing a rapid charger

Post by Jimster »

Well, I’ve been using it for several days and I’ve already changed the Tamiya style connector to an XT60. It was after the fact that I realized that fakes were common (learned that on this forum) and after some internet research I discovered mine was “counterfeit”. I should’ve been more aware when I was shopping. My bad. But it seems to function well enough to keep it.
Here’s the offender. Looks close to the real thing.
