New, 1:16 HL T34
Re: New, 1:16 HL T34
The other easy mod is to replace the screws that hold the upper hull on with magnets. Closely followed by removing the battery box. I started with a HL T34 too.

I've fitted s Trumpeter SU-100 to the lower hill of one of my HL T-34s. The top fits perfectly after you remove about 5mm from the rear deck (the top is too long) which can he invisibly done if you follow the join between the engine cover and the vertical rear cabin panel. I've swapped out the old version mfu for a latest Taigen to get the IR, barrel recoil and flash. I've used the Taigen Tiger firing and recoil and elevation modules and it all fits together quite easily - lots of space! Forgebear supplied all the bits from his Aladdin's cave
So that's two possible mods, the T34/76 or 43 and the SU100

That’s where I’m stuck, I like the idea of the masks instead of decals. I’m just getting lost in which one or style of paint job I want to achieve loljarndice wrote:You have quite rightly identified the worst part of your Tank, The Decals, They really are rubbish.
You have a choice between Peddinghaus decals and Paint Masks/Stencils,
Given that the original Tank was painted using stencils the choice would appear to have been made for you![]()
I use the brilliant workmanship of one of our own Forum members "RAD SCHUHART",

A fair bit can be done with a t34 resin kits for the su100 are available as it the turret for the t34/76 which I have 1 of each of. There are also resin kits available for an su122 which I don’t yet have. I do however have the su85 but not sure if the kit is still available as the guy I got mine from seems to be no longer trading. I will take some photos of each of mine for you and post them here tomorrow

Wow they all look amazing, could I be a pest and ask for close ups of them all. I’m still not 100% sure on the ‘look’ I want to achieve so the more pictures the betterExhibitedbrute wrote:If you need a more close up photo of any of them let me know
