Non Tamiya Old PZ4 Turrets.

Has anybody gutted an old Heng Long or Taigen Panzer 4 Turret and fitted it with the new Taigen turrets contents?
Its just that I have 4 or is it 5 old PZ4 turrets that I would like to modify (Making the Stowage Box correct etc) but as the elevation of the gun is worked from inside the stowage box on the old turret until I know that the new turrets internals are a fit I am left with 4 or 5 lumps of non bio-degradeable plastic :thumbdown:
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:
