Hi All
Started Xmas shopping and got my nephews the Trumpeter T34/Tiger 1 set for £105 + £9 postage.
They are only 6 and 11 years old and since these don't fire BB's I thought it would be ideal for them,
Looking at the prices some other places are charging I was wondering whether it would be a good idea to get a set for myself?
It's just that in some threads their electics don't seem to be up to it?
I would love to have a T34/76 (it comes as a T34/85) and I am thinking this maybe the easiest way to go about it, also the Tiger 1 is a mid/late version
So learned people of the forum do you think it's worth getting a set and putting it by for when I have more time and gut out the electrics?
I would mention the site I bought it from but I think they have only 2 left and I maybe be going back for another set myself
Once again many thanks for your comments/input
Jim

Great price, I paid £130 for mine. With regards to thier electronics, well youve just got to be lucky im affraid. I originaly had the white T-34 & desert Tiger, after a day the tiger lost drive on one track. I replaced it a week later with another tiger. This had a faulty turret gear box, faulty on/off switch and lost reverse on both tracks. Replaced this one with the green T-34 which has now burnt out its 2nd board. The white T-34 is still going strong. Thats my experience with WSN's any way. Just be careful on grass and inclines, they dont like them much, but indoors and on carpet, there fine

very true luke
i found the on/off switch to be in a real daft place underneath at the front any stones or loose ground would switch it off
jim if your up for a bit of modifying then they are a great tank if not still a good tank just be carefull where you use it

JTS, have you got a link to where you bought these I may be interested in a Tiger
They shall not grow old as we who are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
WE WILL REMEMBER THEM

If you don't mind I will post the link next Friday, I will of decided by then if I am getting another set for myself and if I am correct they only have 2 or 3 sets left (sorry selfish I know!).
I didn't notice they were selling the T34 or Tiger seperately though only in the sets,
They did have HL Tiger 1s (non S&S) for £24 + postage

They've got both tigers ( Desert & winter) and both T-34's 9 White & green)on the shelves but for some reason dont show them on the web site (its quite a basic site) Give them an inquiry.
