Re: RCCommand Battle System Version 2.0 Installation Progress
Not touched anything to do with the motor cables. They are as per H/l, in place as per factory. In actual fact they only go in one way anyway. But as I said, I haven't touched those motor cables. Everything is wired up as per instructions, everything is wired up and checked by Bubbajoe. Nothing has changed.
Gentlemen.....I'm not an idiot and neither are all of you. We are all fairly capable people and on that point I have to say....I really do suspect that these systems are untested and unchecked and in actual fact won't work in their current version.
Nick.
My friends I just read your posts whilst writing this one...I welcome all of your help and very much appreciate it...Thanks Gents.

Re: RCCommand Battle System Version 2.0 Installation Progress
sorry nick i wasnt referring that you put them in backwards

yes you are very correct on the boards discrepencies and the 4 ive seen wouldnt have passed a inspection 2 of them had fet boards not soldered in correctly and one even had a resistor pushed into its placement on the board and not even soldered to the board
hmmm wonder why that one didnt work??? the sound cards werent pushed in far enough into the main board thus a bad connection and no sound

I hear you, I waited a while before jumping on the DBC bandwagon - and there's a reason why I only buy my sets from The Blitz, and thats not because they always work out of the box...

So I suspect that the board was made to the usual high standard that we expect from HL, ie Untested, no quality control on the production line and not assembled very well. so it is a Friday board
Re: RCCommand Battle System Version 2.0 Installation Progress
very friday board

Gentlemen,
Sorry for my delay in my reply. I was sitting in the kitchen with my mew Nokia N97 and actively replying to you . Then Debbie( my wife) de-booted the PC and unplugged the wi-fi.
Anyway re-booted and active.
Rob mate, I wasn't having a go at you.......However with the way things have gone with this RCC system, I was just wondering how you think I ought to proceed with this.

Re: RCCommand Battle System Version 2.0 Installation Progress
nick not a problem buddy
i for one can understand your frustrations :-[
if it was me i would make a test rig and install out of the tank see if it all works first assuming that wasnt done first
trouble is ive got so many questions it would probably do your head in lol
was the rx18 running ok before the install?
as it may have been duff before you started or going that way and nothing to do with the battle system
the battle stystem has blown your board think im going to need one of these to test out is bill still selling them?

Rob,
All tested out of the tank.
Rx-18 function prior the RCC install was perfect.
I'm not sure if Bill is still selling them.
