New and delighted to be here
Good day, my name is mathew, I'm new to scale/model tanks but not new to the hobby of R/C. I'm from london and I'm currently embarking on the challenge of making a 1/11 scale model abrams after reading a few posts I thought this would be the ideal place if I happen to get stuck I hope to share my progress here and hope I can make a great addition to this community

Re: New and delighted to be here
Welcome, Mathew!
You will find friendly, helpful folks here.
I have a M1A1HA Abrams build underway that I've been working on for a little over 4 years now.
If any of what I've done might be helpful to you the build can be found in the Heng Long Builds, Sub Heading of Modern Builds.
Look forward to watch your progress. A 1/11 scale will be awesome, sounds like a lot of scratch building to be done.

Hello and welcome to the forum Mathew
Sounds like you are going to have your work cut out for you.
May I ask why you chose 11th scale?

Re: New and delighted to be here
thank you all for the warm welcomes, based on the introductional message i actuall took it literally that noone was going to read this
however i have given a more detailed explanation at to why 1/11 on the build post short story is the pin size for the tracks at this scale is woughly 3mm which is material i have more readily available
