Lockdown Tank club.
So in this new thread as many of us are in lockdown and our tank clubs are closed until further notice I have devised a thread I call lock down tank club.
This is a thread dedicated to photos and/or videos of your tanks doing what they do in your home tank playgrounds
I will open this thread with a few photos of some of my tanks playing around in my home made playground

It’s your tank it’s what you make it
Re: Lockdown Tank club.
I like the idea of a thread dedicated to stuff we did during the coronavirus lockdown, but some people might say we already have an entire board dedicated to the exact same subject, called "show off".
When FDR coined the phrase "The Arsenal of Democracy", he was talking about Detroit. Proud to live in the 2nd most violent city in America!!

Maybe there are some of us who don't want to start a whole new thread just for themselves but would like to share a pic of two of what they are doing in a shared one.Max-U52 wrote:I like the idea of a thread dedicated to stuff we did during the coronavirus lockdown, but some people might say we already have an entire board dedicated to the exact same subject, called "show off".

1:16 was my scale. Until 'Konan' came into my life... an Armortek 1:6 Tiger 1!
... Now followed by a Panther G, 'Gunther'!
I'm a happy man.

Re: Lockdown Tank club.
This isn’t about individuals showing off their tanks under their own thread because there is a section for that as we all know.
This is a thread of what we are doing with our tanks while we are in lockdown. So if you have a built up tank playground that you can photo or video yourself using or if you and a child are battling with your tanks. It’s here. Basically all the things you would do at a tank club
Hence the name. Lockdown tank club

Re: Lockdown Tank club.
This was my first build, five years ago:- a Tiger 1 built mostly from Taigen parts (metal chassis, etc.,), but with Taigen Airsoft Barrel Recoil feature, and IBU2. The winter camo I painted it in doesn't quite work in a Summer garden, but hey...it's not in a real (1/16) War!
, but still here it is taking up a commanding position above my garden/battlefield. This one's not for the critical eye (Shaun!).It was my first attempt at daubing one, as well as building one.

It looks great, Highlander, but what are you doing now?
I'm still on this trailer, almost ready to put the thread together. I don't have much ready for the forum yet, but here's 51 seconds on the double diamond plate I'm using.
I like the thread concept. A lot of us are pretty much stuck at home, posting photos of what we're up to will help us get to the end of this foolishment.
10 points if you know where I got that word.

In case the plate wasn't boring enough for ya, here's a couple more minutes on the truck. Since this video I've pretty much finished it, but still haven't done the video. The trailer is almost done, just have to secure the ramps to the shaft and the worm shaft in it's place, but that's almost done, too, and I built one very sturdy box for it and confidence is high.
When it's finished I'll post more, and I might enter it in the TOTM, but the main point of the project was to put together something cool that any one of us could do. Most of it is off-the-shelf, and the few specialty pieces I can help with if anyone else wants a crack.
