Challenger 2 TES (megatron conversion)

Post by tomhugill »

Hey folks,

Armoured models have created a chally 2 TES kits. Price individually is £120. However James has kindly offered a discount down to £100 if a group buy of 5 kits can be organised.

(Photos of the kit installed and rather nicely painted)

If you're interested in this drop me a pm.ImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImage

Hi Tom. Can you please just clarify what the kit includes? I know, for example, what comes with the Heng long model but not the Tamiya example so don't know what the shown model is based on. Is there a link to the actual parts?

And yes,very interested.

The example is the kit on a henglong challenger. I’ll see if I can get some pictures of an uninstalled kit.

Thanks Tom, that's all l (we) should need to know as we can all easily lookup a HL model. I've seen odd bagged photos of the kits though the contents vary - most don't show the triangular footed turret mast or the racking mesh around the rear of the turret but if this is all included in the kit l'm sure we won't mind spending £100 on a £140 tank!

Hi Tom,

I am interested depending on what the kit contents (quality) look like and what's included.

Cheers,

Assuming this is the same kit I bought off Armoured Models it comes with turret and side slab/ERA blocks (and about 200 bolt heads!) as well as the glassis plate assembly, the wing tie-in pieces, the bar armour for the rear hull and rear of the turret - pretty sure the bird table assembly (on the turret) WAS included but the remote weapon station isn't.

It's also worth noting that James/Armoured Models also do the later (drilled) road wheels.
