will the gun and mantlet on the short barrelled Pzr4 fit the pzr 3 ? i want to convert my pzr3 to an ausf n model

Not if you want something that looks like a Panzer IIIN 
I built my IIIN with the mantlet assembly from a IIIH - The IIIN did not have the spaced armour on the mantlet that the IIIL has.
You will need to open out the mantlet inner diameter ever so slightly to accomodate the barrel of the Panzer IV. To be absolutely accurate you will need to shorten the barrel as well, but I wanted to keep the airsoft working. (and grind off the vent of the right hand side of the mantlet as well - just realised that I'd missed that >:( )
