another idea is to mod the hole that holds the coil spring to the arm

if you take off an arm youll see a hole in the chassis with a smaller hole around the edge the idea is to put in another hole and increase the tension on the spring  ;)

not too sure if that makes sense ;)

I appreciate that cost may be an issue, but the best solution to all of your problems will be the Asiatam lower hull. It is a fully built hull that is fitted with every extra known to man or beast, including torsion bar suspension. It is far easier to buy that than spend endless amounts of money trying to upgrade the HL hull.

I agree that you would be better off with the Asiatam Tiger1 hull, but you have allready spent alot on the mods you have so which axles are you useing? And how are they connected to which types of control arms(metal or plastic). If you have metal control arms their are mods in tips and tricks to help in that assembly, nothing is stronger than it's weakest link, what is your weak link? Find out and re-post that single problem, then we will help you solve that issue and move to the next weak link. Feel free to PM me if your unsure, one problem at a time and we can get you rolling.

I ve found that without the stregthening plates the standard hull is just too flexible to take metal wheels.
Also on my set of metal wheels they required quite a lot of filing etc to get a close fit.

Lots of helpful tips going on here. I had a simular problem with one of my T-34's, the tracks snagging on the skirts, i found that the tracks were too slack and when they had any resistance on them, I/e and obstical or incline, they would tend to bunch up just in front of the drive, i just tensioned them a bit and this cured my problem. Hope you sort your problem out ;D ;D

Welcome to the forum by the way ;D Luke
