NEW PICS JagdPanzer E-39 ish paper panzer ?

Post by mcevoyi »

Hi all

well.... by now most of you know that i love to have a walk down the less well know side of german armour ..

as to this jagPanzer the E-39 project may have been built as nothing more than a prototype and i hope that rivitcounter may be able to shed a bit more light on the subject for me

in the subject i put E-39 ish ..... as i have two sets of drawings .. one with a frontal armour thats rounded at the front corners and a slopped rear hull top

and the other drawings is almost the same as the pz4 l/70a

i have gone for the easy option ... ok .. its been warm and i have not reay figuer out how to produce the curved armour .. yet

well enough yap ... pics say it all ???

hi there gunnar

thanks for that link .. very useful .. as its a cross between tow different versions of the l 70/lang and l 70/a .....

i am also aware that there is a conversion kit out there too .. but i kind if figure that one conversion is the cost of four panzer iv .. and change for some plastic card

so which way will  jump ..... hmm letts see

i just love the smell of filled plactic card in the morning  !

Not exactly a paper panzer there where nearly 2000 built in 3 different types using either an L48 gun or the L70 Lang, the curved edges on the fighting compartment where the initial model but proved difficult to build so the straight edge model took it's place, I believe there may be a resin conversion kit for the Panzer IV
