Airbrushing
Airbrushing
Hi All,
Recently quite a few of our members and myself have invested in airbrush kits.
As we all know we have some very expert and experienced airbrush users on this forum.
Is there any chance one of you could find the time to post a tutorial on painting with an airbrush?
Thanks in advance
John

My first use of airbrush,Oz also shows if all goes wrong you can always start over by stripping with ovencleaner. If you view the thread please read all 6-pages as their are several different methods for different circumstances.SAX

Did you ever check out the utube link I posted on your post with regards to a blocked tip/nozzle ? I know that was just a link to quick colour changes, it also gave a tutorial to stripping down the AB, cleaning and reassembly. I know Its not a tutorial on painting with the AB, but cleaning it is pretty important too.

Re: Airbrushing
steiner is right, if you don't clean your airbrush after "AND" before you use it you will end up using the oven cleaner method quicker than you wanted too,
there is a few guys on here who can use an AB with ease! (you know who you are) the more methods of painting we have the more info people will have to look through and decide what way suits them best to paint their tanks, be warned i,m gonna put some of you guys on the spot on Thursday night at the club........................oz

Do you mean that you are going to lean on some of your clubs Renaissance Master painters to start some other excellent painting/weathering tutorials to supplement yours LOL

That would be fantastic

There is a lot of info out there, but no where near as detailed as your current painting thread.
Cheers.

Re: Airbrushing
i know i,ve been missing for a while but i,ll finish my thread this week, the way i look at it very few magazines or sites go into any real depth about painting models as a whole, you can get the general idea but we need real in-depth threads on how things are done, i can think of three guys off the top of my head who will help or its no tea and biccies and they may find pots of paint super glued too the table scalpel blades sanded flat or white spirits in their glue jars, i,m sure i can persuade them.
not only will it be good for the forum and the members and people who look on here but good for the guys who post the threads too.................oz

Re: Airbrushing
i know we have a tips and tricks section and a builds section but what about a brush and airbrush techniques section, this can cover anything and everything about enhancing your paintwork and the best tools to get the job done and where to source them ..................oz
