removing tamiya threadlock

Post by paulc »

Hi all I have recently got my hands on a Tamiya Panther and a Jagdpanther. I want to fit bearings in the wheels but the builder has overdosed on the threadlock putting it not only on the grubscrew but also in the shaft support. Does anyone know something that can release or losen this many thanks in advance.

Put a soldering iron over the screw for some seconds, and unscrew when hot.
