I do not know if this Dealer is the cheapest vendor of the new Heng Long Tiger 1 V6.0 available but I have looked hard and long and I could not find anywhere that's cheaper so I ordered one from Howes of Kidlington for £119.0 which includes £10 Postage.

Same here, £88 incl post, cheaper than all he v5.3! Next day courier too. Still good value though at over a ton!

Yes Yes, But mine does include the turret, the body and the hull, not just the box

For special items l check my favourite suppliers first but for popular items l first search eBay and sort the result in lowest price first. It took me around 30 seconds to find this one - fast, cheap and effortless

The turret hull and tracks are due to be delivered in 2020...

Sort of thread related (ish) , I am modding a HL from the RX18 generation, there were newer versions coming in as v2.4 last time I was on here, now I hear v5.3 and v6.0 versions.

How are these units advanced in terms of the older RX18 models , what’s extra ? / better ?

I think it was the RX18 that took Heng Long from toy to hobby, And not long after came Clark and IBU which woke up people to a cheap version of Tamiyas armour,
We owe a lot to Heng Long especially the latest V6.0 version which still undercuts all its competitors and as far as I am concerned its most attractive point is the many faults that it still comes with which gives me the opportunity to make MY OWN Tiger1 rather than the too perfect Tamiya which by virtue of its base price makes modifying it a daunting prospect.
I am not sure why I spent money for this Tank at this time because as I mentioned to a couple of friends on the Forum I have recently been told I have a pair of Cataracts so doing any detail work is on the back burner for about 6 months at least.
My only real worry about the problem with my eyes is that my first visit to the Surgeon is on 23rd December
I hope the fellow does not hit the festive sauce to soon or it could be the dark glasses and the Labrador

Cataracts are a bit like worn out hips. It sounds horrific but everyone l know who has had the op says it was simple with almost instant recovery and just wish they had had it done sooner. Look forward to doing all the detail work in January, providing of course you don't yet suffer from 'fat fingers'!!

Jarndice, I had it done over two months, an eye at a time last year. Best year since as far as vision goes. Cataracts are a creeping onset thing ( you probably know this already ). So you'll be amazed once the first eye is done and you realize how much color and clarity had slowly leeched out of the world to be immediately returned by surgery. Your scale modeling will be refreshed no doubt!

Cataract ops are quick, and pretty routine these days, Shaun. For this reason, I don't think you'll be getting your build manuals in braille.
That said, I think I'd have my peepers done individually, just in case the surgeon has post-party shakes...
I once had a dental surgeon with tremor in the hand that usually held that very long, and intimidating, numbing jab. He hit my lip twice before he found the gum. In passing, I informed him that he would be better employed filling roads than teeth.
Anyway, all will be well....except when the bandages come off, you might be seeing clearly- but double. Now, that can't be a bad thing with a nice whisky in front of you
Incidentally, you didn't give us your hands-on impressions of the V6.0 system.
