Do you know of any good tank related movies or simple decent war movies? Post them here for all of us to enjoy!

Sahara!

Post by Ragnar »

Just found out about this remake of the classic Humphrey Bogart world warII drama circa 1942.
Surprising this movie is rather highly rated staring Jim Belushie commanding a M3A1 Grant tank
Bought it off Amazon for $12, they also have the original with Bogie which I’ll undoubtedly pick up also lol....

Watch the two of those back to back. Dialogue was almost identical. Riveted slab hull in the original, a cast hull M3 in the remake. Other than color and a cast change, the same movie.

Just pulled out the movies, I was wrong both are riveted hulls. Seems I have mixed it up with a cast hull monument tank that had that name on it.......

Will have to grab the original and give them both a close look over, knowing Hollywoods love of old vehicles curious if this tank could be one and the same in both films.
Imagine Belushie, thinking .....Damn Bogie once rode in this tank!! :haha:

Check to see if it's the same one from "1941"?
