it's the Nazi national battle flag.
Crispy, unfortunately the fact that he was able to fly this flag for so long just shows how worrying England is becoming on the other hand if he had flown the George cross the Police would probably have kicked the door in to remove such a heinous flag within a short time, over hear in Belgium it's a criminal offence to fly such a flag he would have been arrested and charged within the hour, German WWII uniforms have also recently been re criminalised owing to the ammount of people showing up in the Ardene's at places like the Malmendy cross roads dressed in SS uniforms treating it like a pilgrimage the Police have arrested and evicted two groups from Malmendy they had there uniforms and kit confiscated and sent back to Germany where they came from the locals wanted them handing back to German Police in the uniforms where they would have received a hefty fine or for this incident time in the slammer

You're right Rivetcounter, I've been feeling like a bit of a nob all day for not doing anything yesterday. I'll keep an eye on them and if the flag comes out again I'll get a nice clear photo of it right infront of the house, call the poilce and send the photo to my local newspapers.

Just because you didn't call doesn't mean that someone else didn't, or that the police didn't see it on their own... perhaps the flag didn't come down voluntarily at all and the matter was addressed with the authorities.  Have any of your other neighbors mentioned seeing it, or perhaps heard why it was there in the first place??
