Tiger throwing tracks Problems.

Post by Tackleberry »

I took my tiger for a spin today and found that it keeps throwing it's tracks.
I think the problem is the idle wheels they seem to be flopping around to much so i tighten them up
but it made no change.
anyone got any ideas.

Hi,

Has it got metal tracks? I found after a while the tracks stretch and after dropping a link on either side that problem was solved.

Unfortunately the plastic tracks just aren't heavy enough to help maintain tension while being long enough to have a realsitic looking 'sag' to them when the tank is stationary

Hi Martin is right plastic tracks need to be tight ,also check alinement of sprocket to idler and all the wheels sometimes if the idler or wheeels are out they make the track jump off.

Also make sure the suspension arms are on tight, if they're not then the can swing out which'll throw the track.

Check that the pins holding the wheels on are also pressed all the way home as well.
