Humbrol 84 "Mid Stone"

Post by jarndice »

Does anyone know what number Humbrols Acrylic version is of its Enamel "84 mid stone" ?
It in my opinion is the most realistic colour for wooden tool handles,
I am trying to get away from using Enamel Paint.
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:

I've always liked Humbrols matt paints.
So, why do you not want to use their enamel paints anymore?

All modelling paints must flow and act differently now after the VOC ban (Volatile Organic Compounds).

Me again.
Silly question, don't they have the same number for enamel and acrylic?

Anyway, why I'm back, I found this useful free pdf conversion chart. And colour wall chart, again, a free pdf.

Yeah, I'm afraid they keep the same colour numbers for acrylic as they do the enamel paints. And it doesn't appear that they do an 84 mid stone in acrylic.
