Uploading video

Checked the FAQ but couldn’t locate anything on uploading videos to post’s
I have attempted to upload from my photos but assume the files were to large as they were declined.
How does one go about uploading them.

You can't upload a video to the forum, it has to be uploaded to You Tube first.

Copy the video URL at the top of the You Tube screen.
Come back to RCTW.
Create a post.
Click on the video button on the right, just above the box that you are typing into.
You will see this:

phpBB [video]

Click in the middle between ] & [.
Now paste the video url using CTRL+V.

To check that you have done it correctly, select Preview (next to Submit).
If it is ok, click on Submit.
Job done.

Cheers mate! I had figured out how to insert the YouTube link but I didn't know how to do it so the video image was shown instead of just a hyperlink- but I do now Many thanks

Yes by all means post the video gary,I just last evening figured out uploading to YouTube.
