its .....

i think ??? the laser tank from space 1999 ...but not so sure as i remember being able to see the running gear on the models from the show .

or my other bet is a zerroied tank from terra hawks ... never been repeated on tv you know like space pricent !

Terrorhawks was great, didnt take itself too seriously like the older Gerry Anderson shows. Christ it even had a character called Stu Dapples  :P

Nice to see the battletank is like most fictional vehicles in films and TV, almost totally impractical. I mean look at the front overhang on that thing! Not crossing many obstacles in that me thinks. Still it has more ground clearance than the Aliens APC ::)

yep thats the article that got me going on this. and Then i got the blueprints from century 21 and guess what? The Blueprints dont match the tamiya Chassis and his build doesnt match the blueprints. Sooo, you have to take a bit of the blue prints, a bit of davids build and so far it all matches up ::)
