Has anyone found a reliable (cheap) source of round and oblong lenses for modern tanks?
I'm looking to scratch build the rear light clusters on my Challenger 2, and whilst happy to create the light buckets, I'm pretty sure that finding lenses will be the hard part:
I've seen these on Shapeways, but fitting LED's into them would be more trouble than it's worth: https://www.shapeways.com/product/5J4DF ... ht-cluster
Thinking about Tamiya 1/14th Truck lenses and potentially filing them down, but it's an expensive route to take...
The other option is to get the Tamiya Leopard 2 front lenses and lamps like Daz did on his...

Truescale Trucks website has Tamiya and many other examples, all made to accept leds.
