I got some of those motors and your right there fine I've been running them hard just to see what happens

Yep...planning to put the fans in before I use a 480.  I've seen a lot of posts about blown boards from tanks without fans.  ;)

Wibbly, I'd love to see the comparison video.

another option for cooling the boards especially the rx18 is to remove the fet board and put it on fly leads and stick it between 2 bits of ally or better copper to remove heat

this mod is very similar if not the same as nigelderenglanders original "umbilicle" method for the Rx 13s

hope to try it myself shortly on my tiger build using an rx18 ;) ;) ;)
