etch primer??

Hi.

I have purchased a Taigen Imex Sherman, my question is will the mteal and plastic parts need spraying with different primers?
I am concerned that the Halfords etch primer may damage the plastic parts.

Hi, I do use Spray Metal Etch Primer but that is for large areas such as Metal Hulls everything else I use "MR HOBBY-MR METAL Metal Etch Primer" which comes in a small bottle and is painted on,
It is not cheap but a bottle lasts forever so it is very good value.
I spray Red Oxide Primer over the top of Metal primer and in small areas I paint Red Oxide Primer using a "Hammerite" Product.

Have you had a look at vms products? They have an etch primer too and offer several other useful products too.
