Brass bits - Source?

Post by Mic »

Hi guys, hopefully an easy one, I'm building a Stug III and need some parts - I've done some searching and can't seem to find what I'm after, but know it's out there somewhere! So can anyone help by giving me a source of where I can buy them, or are they custom made?

I've seen this over on a website called Tank Zone (Heard bad things about this site) A detailed brass jack set - £39 seems a little steep to me, but can't seem to find it anywhere else.

Thanks :)

Hi I scratch built that travel lock out of brass and styrene. As far as I know there's not one you can buy.

The jack you mention is wehoe. Rctank.de stock them but it's the wrong jack for a stug. On mine I altered a panther one but the mounts were again scratch built. Mayo for a panzer iii jack. Not as detailed but broadly the right shape which would be a decent basis for detailing up.
