Ok folks. So I have been at it on the lower hull

Usually I use a mix of thinner and Oils ( abteilung etc) to make a slurry mixg, dab it on, and then right after dab on a varity of pigment colors .
This time I used one of Ammo mud jars and mixed it into a ( sorry for the 'nasty' photo
 )

Added some splatter

And some darker mudspots

Stian this looks so realistic. Am I correct saying your mud slurry is applied and then pigments are dabbed onto the wet mix to keep them in place?

							Tanks alot....

that is correct

It's my 'trusted' method on the lower hull
On the wheels I use the Tamiya texture paint dark mud, it really makes a good mud texture when you apply it , and after 'stabb' it with a stiff brush

Pic 1 and 2 for my vote!
Love the mud effects Mr Mekker, I do a similar method but use diluted PVA glue as a fixer and mixing medium.
