hi there mate,

people genurally use mulitput, its a 2 part e-poxy putty (like modeling plado that goes hard) , we mix it up and lay it thinly flat onto the tank, and then inprint the Zimmerit patton,

this works great for cureved areas and such, but for large flat area's crispy's plasticard method works well, glue on the plasticard and then use a soldering iron to put the patton in,

sorry its a bit vague, but ive not actually done it before ! :D

any other Q's ill try to help! ;D

Hi,

i made the Zimmerit with Apoxie. You can find it here http://www.imperial-modellbau.de/shop/index2.htm. Search for "Zimmeritset Stempel + Spachtelmasse".

Here`s a pic of my Kingtiger with Zimmerit:

I'm not being arrogant or sarcastic but have you tried using the "search" facility this has been covered several times in the past and would save the same people spending valuable time re typing methods used

We don't seem to have a complete guide to applying zimmerit available on the forum. So here's a link to a tutorial on applying zimmerit.
