Part of the appeal fo me- a large part, in fact- is the workmanship, and ingenuity, found in some of these aged armaments. I actually enjoy stripping them down and reassembling 'em.

It's really a genuine pleasure to handle a legendary WW1 and WW2 weapon, for someone who enjoys engineering, although I try not to think of the hundreds of thousands of souls they've sent back to Mother Earth...
