Do Taigen IR tanks come with recoil?

Yes Mick, normally all of them with IR capabilities have recoil ( at least mine do ) I think it's just the bb unit versions that do not have it, HTH

I have two bb Taigens, but the IR Sherman I got my grandson was built and painted for me with an IBU2U with new speaker and Tar smoker installed, so I had no real idea what was done from standard

LOL Yes I like that puddle to clean my tracks, It’s stock except the V3 MFU.

Taigen do a Mid-production version that sports the Airsoft Barrel Recoil feature. It cropped up in a number of discussions a few years ago. There was a plan to use the mechanism in other tanks, but, as far as I know only the mid-production Tiger 1 has it currently. Plastic and Metal turrets with the inbuilt BB Airsoft Barrel recoil feature are still available, I believe. I converted two of my Tigers using them. Ghosttjr has noted that HLP-de sells barrel recoil (BB) models, but they can't be from Heng Long, and must be Torro branded Taigens, I'd guess..as Taigen invented the mechanism.
