Having issues with Heng Long Challenger 2

Post by AlanThornton »

Hi guys,

I've found recently that when I fire the BB's from turret my tank switches off. Nothing appears to be jammed, has anyone found anything similar? Many thanks.

I've had this happen when the battery was out of charge.

That has been the only time I've had this. The battery I was using at the time, although newish, didn't hold a full charge.

The only other thing I can think of is that your battery connection isn't fully home. When fitting the battery, sometimes the clips in the plug push in and you don't get a full connection. Therefore, when you fire the bb and the tank goes into its recoil spasm, the lose connection can come adrift slightly and cause a shutdown.
Therefore, although yours turns off, are the lights still on but in standby mode?
