1.5mm IR emitter and FPV camera

I'm looking for some absolutely tiny electronics to fit in the binocular gun sight holes of a 1/16 Panther Ausf D gun mantlet

The holes are 1.5mm and behind them are 5mm led holders, the mantlet itself is around 6.25mm thick

Are there any tiny IR emitters and FPV cameras that could fit these holes or are there any that could see/get a signal through the holes unobstructed if they were mounted on the inside of the mantlet?
