Thanks for that link mate, very handy to know it can be programmed. Now, I just need that magic cable
I expect that if I was to be able to do channel switching in the programme, the functions may come back.

Could not stand it any longer.
Got the first colour of camo on today.
Used a blended mix of AK 715 green, and XF-58 Tamiya Olive Green.
Same as I used for my F05.
Thinned out so as to be very light on each pass of the airbrush.
Its still soaking in to the base Dunkelgelb, but I'm happy with it.
Red-brown on tomorrow I hope.
Also got the oxide primer on the tracks too. They will get colour on them tomorrow as well.
Over all, getting it looking right may be one win, but unless it can battle with other Tamiya's, its no better than a Heng Long.

Hey Mr. Bix,
I've refrained from posting any adulatory comments on this phenomenal re-build to this point in time as I'd be posting repeatedly, but this latest posting just demands comment. I love it! Apart from the build itself which has deservedly received an A+ report card, this paint work captures in my mind's eye the right amount of green in just the right shade and just the right scheme on just the right base coat. I can't wait for the next chapter.
Lovely build all the way around.

Thank you very much Mr Sch-pzr
As there are only a few variations of the Tri-colour scheme possible, its not easy to get any sort of differing look to a King Tiger.
I'm just not a fan of the hard edge with Hinterhalt patterns, and outside of those, for the timeframe, the choice is limited.
One important thing I have learnt recently, the Tamiya XF-58 Olive Green is just too dark.
Its been quite interesting to watch the green blend actually getting lighter as time goes on since I painted it.
Brown on today, starting to get form.
Now to get the masking Panzer Putty off
