Hello from Southern California
Hello from Southern California
I’m a 50 year old father of two and have been obsessed with R/c of all types and WWII tanks since as far as I can remember. I’ve been a builder of static model tanks for a few years but purchased my first Taigen Tiger I a year ago and my second Taigen Sherman a week ago, both airsoft version since ther is no one close to battle with. I’m here to learn tips and tricks to keeping these tanks running and make upgrades as needed . Thanks for adding me.

Hello and welcome to the forum Mr Evlwevl.
That's the trouble with these toys, having someone to play with (shoot)
I'm sure you'll find lots of guidance re your upgrading. And please feel free to share your knowledge, also, feel free to share any pictures you may have of your other models, whether RC or static, we have appropriate sections nearer the bottom of the forum board
Enjoy your stay.
Mick.

Welcome, and just in time for Christmas too!
I had to smile at your screen name, as it reminds me of the jest: "...'The lesser of two weevils',", in the 'Master and Commander' film.
Feel free to add pics, and observations, as you go along.. (and they're not always to do with Tanks
).

The name reminds me of Evil Weevil, one of the UK robot wars contestants.

Hmmm.... are R/C tanks allowed in the People's Republic of California?
I know here in the People's Republic of Maryland I encountered some issues when running mine out in public!
But hello and welcome!

Thanks for the comments. There are some of us left here in Kalifornia that haven’t lost our minds and still believe in the 2nd amendment. My Sherman needs accessories. I just finish painting the turret and supplied commander figure last weekend. It shoots surprisingly true and far as compared to my mid prod Tiger I. I’m still in the process of weathering the Tiger and am not happy with it yet so photos to come other than the pre weathering sitting next to the Sherman
