Lipo battery won't charge ?

Post by Model Builder 4 »

Evening all,

I have a 450mah overlander 2s lipo battery that I use for my trucks, unfortunately I plugged it in and it has gone under the low voltage mark  I've tried charging it with my imax charger but it's just flashing up and beeping ' Battery check, low voltage ' it's just under with both cells being 5.92, is there anything I can do or does it mean that it's knackered :(

Cheers Lee.

What Tom said. Just be careful not to forget about it and charge it too high on NiCd!

Yep, same again but make sure you use a charging pouch. As soon as the voltage lifts a little, stop and continue charging normally. This method isn't approved by any manufacturer but it works!

Thank you all fella's  I did a similar thing, I rotated it between charge cycles still on the lipo setting and within a couple of minutes it came back up :D it's charged as normal now, thanks for your help,
