Plans for WW1 tank

I have never trusted wood as it can distort over time. I prefer styrene sheet and extrusions and/or aluminium sheet and extrusions. Both can be cut and machined to very precise dimensions and make very stable frames. Your local aluminum fabricator will be able to do cutting and folding for you and, from my experience, will do so very cheaply when he understands it is for your hobby.

Thanks general. I can cnc cut at home all the sections I need. There are lots of good woods that would do good service. But it’s early days yet.
