All metal King Tiger

Post by SteelBird »

I came across this Tiger 2 on the web but the dealer only leaves links to the deposit and final payment. Not much info is provided. Not even a brand or total price. The only info is the product was made by CNC of stainless steel, buyer is adviced to have some level of skill or have to be responsible for damage by oneself. Adding the deposit and final payment results about US$3000 total. I guess this is a 1/16 scale.

Nice but any other details regarding seller & location? Bit sketchy sounding if you ask me but then I've been bitten before so only deal with proven supply channels.

I post the product solely in the mean of a tank lover and share to all others the beauty of it. I don't persuade anyone to buy it. So who's the supplier or is he reliable or not is not that important. Anyway, at $3000+ that's too expensive, looking is OK but don't touch it!

Certainly worth a look - beautiful! If it's a one off hand made then it probably warrants the price tag, even as a static model. If it works then all the better. However, you need a fat wallet to buy it and two very strong arms to carry it!! Seems a shame to paint it.

$3000 USD for a 1/16 scale tank is a little much IMHO as a 1/8 King Tiger is only a couple grand more. But if you must have all metal it's a beauty. Too bad you'll paint it.

Looks nice but I'd expect better detail at that price.

We get the price tag; US$3,450!

If I were to own this bad boy, I would keep it unpainted forever. As it is made of stainless steel I think it is much stronger than the aluminium/zinc alloy of Mato's all metal tank. I love it! but like I said, just look at it, don't touch it!
