Where to get a decent ready for IR tank?
I've been looking for a tank that is ready to run and is ready for IR battle, I've checked the taigen website but those tanks are a bit out of my budget. Any help would be appreciated

I think the cheapest are the Torro-WSN IR tanks. They do a Tiger 1 and T34. Look on the Torro.de Web site. €119. However, I believe they are only compatible with each other. They are fairly basic - no smoke units. They also use their own 9.6 volt batteries.

Tamiya Tiger 1, Taigen FlakPanzer IV,Torro M16 half-track, Tamiya Panther,WSN/Torro T34,Taigen M41 Bulldog,H/l/Taigen Sherman M4A3,H/L T90, Haya M3 Grant, Metal Origins 234/2 Puma, Nashorn by Alwyn. I was only going to have one tank - honest!

Are you looking to battle in your backyard or something with a club? If the latter you need something Tamiya compatibleAshMann wrote:I've been looking for a tank that is ready to run and is ready for IR battle, I've checked the taigen website but those tanks are a bit out of my budget. There's nothing ready to run Tamiya compatible, you'll need to install 3rd party electrics to make anything but a Tamiya battle.AshMann wrote:I'm trying to battle with a club. Would an HL with a mako board be enough?tomhugill wrote:There's nothing ready to run Tamiya compatible, you'll need to install 3rd party electrics to make anything but a Tamiya battle.AshMann wrote:I'm trying to battle with a club. You'd probably need a Tamiya apple too as those henglong ones aren't great and depending on the club probably wouldn't be upto standardAshMann wrote:Would an HL with a mako board be enough?tomhugill wrote:There's nothing ready to run Tamiya compatible, you'll need to install 3rd party electrics to make anything but a Tamiya battle.AshMann wrote: I'm trying to battle with a club.
