The tank in that video is a combination of several after market parts, heng long parts, etc etc. There isn't one single snap-of-the-fingers conversion set you can buy and just drop in.

Look up the wecohe brand chassis.

Ok, so there is no shortcut to happiness.

Heng Long 1:16 Panzer III Ausf L is a pretty good model, but at least these things have to be corrected:

-The gun barrel is too thick

-Huge gap between the mudguard and tracks

-Tools that are casted to the mudguard

-Engine air vents net

For what it's worth, the Tank mobellbau is pre-fitted and wired with a flash LED. It saves a bit of faffing about.

It's great that there are aftermarket barrels, but what about the gun shields...

Many enthusiasts would be delighted if there were corrcted 1:16 Panzer III gun shields.

Just remember that on the last picture, Bovingtons PzIII, the gun mantlet is missing. ;-)
1:16 was my scale. Until 'Konan' came into my life... an Armortek 1:6 Tiger 1!
... Now followed by a Panther G, 'Gunther'!

I'm a happy man. 8)
