Good evening,
Whatever the stock motor is? The only upgrade I have done so far was to fill the diffs with silicone grease.
regards and thanks for checking out the video!

Re: HL Truck Mods
Good morning, Sub and Herman,
It is overly fast, even with the filled diffs. A different MFU will slow it down and steering will improve with a progressive servo. 360 degrees of mountains, Sub, they fill all horizons up here in the Rockies.
) Herman, I'm swapping to a bigger battery and will disguise it as a crate in the cargo bed. That may help a lot with the bounce. Going at a scale speed will help as well. Herman, in the winter, you can hear the tractors and plows heading off to keep the State Highway clear. In the Spring and Summer it is RV driving Tourists out on said Highway. Mostly, it is the wind in the trees and birdsong. ( Sometimes me out mowing and weed whacking
) At night, it is Elk bugling from the hillsides or coyotes or the occasional and lonely wolf howl. You hear a lot more from nature up here than you do from people. That is fine by me. I like living in the Old West circa 1918. ;o)
regards,
Painless

Hey, Painless, you may have seen that I'm now printing crates in actual wood. Well, it's a composite of 70% PLA and 30% actual wood infill. I think they look great and don't even need to be painted. Send me some dimensions for the crate you need in millimeters and I'll throw one in when I finally get these tires printed, no charge.
When FDR coined the phrase "The Arsenal of Democracy", he was talking about Detroit. Proud to live in the 2nd most violent city in America!!

Re: HL Truck Mods
Hi chaps.
A bit of advice please.
I have just upgraded all 3 axles on my 6x6 to metal internals all went well.
Now the question..there are ten 5mm dia by 3mm internal dia flat washers in the kit does anone know where they go as i cannot find a use for them and of course there are no instructions provided.
Regards
