Information Help

Post by George »

Hello
Can anyone tell me the size and type of screws used in the H.L 1/16 Walker Tank that attach the: Sprockets, Road wheels, Shocks, idlers to the hull?
Thanks
George
P.S Anyone know a N.American source for center caps for the road wheels?

Good evening,
The screws for the sprockets and Idlers are hex head I believe. The plastic road wheels used odd rivet types on my original Pershing. The Walker road wheels and the Pershing's version are the same I believe. In that case, the center caps for the Pershing wheels will fit your Walker set. ( providing yours are the plastic ones ) https://www.ebay.com/itm/HengLong-1-16- ... SwTIxZze2D

The only metric screws are the M3 x 15 (or so) ones that hold the sprockets on. The rest are are bespoke self tapping screws.

Hello
Thank You for the information on the screws. I thought the screws that hold the road wheels onto the shocks are machine screws with a flat head.
