Howdoo,
can anyone tell me the length of a h/l tiger inner aluminium barrel, the reason i ask is i've got a piece of ally tube left over from a barrel i made for a tiger and maybe some one can make use of it, just want to make sure it's not too short

Total barrel length is 6 and 7/16 inch.I am replacing my gun and barrel,that is total length of metal inner barrel.

One can shorten the inner barrel to about 175mm from 212mm and get a noticeable increase in performance. Just be sure to enlarge the end of the muzzle brake some!

Have you done this decrease with the standard barrel or a creeping death turret? On my tank as the barrel recoils it mates with a machined Tamiya Barrel, lots of power and very accurate we hope,this turret has been a three month project.Today all componets are here and ready for assembly,but a shorter inner barrel would seem to lose velocity? Are you useing the standard plastic outer barrel?
